Gold and silver

Your Pond piece is made from real un-plated gold or silver. When caring for gold and silver avoid letting hairspray, perfume, chlorine, salt water or household chemicals come into direct contact with your jewellery.

Precious metals are soft so handle with care and remove during physical work such as gardening and sports and before sleep.

Store this jewellery in the Pond box provided to avoid scratches and chain knots.

Our metals are not plated and so will not fade or change colour. However un-plated metals can tarnish over time or if in contact with chemicals and so we recommend cleaning regularly with gold or silver cleaning fluid and a soft cloth.

Glass

If your piece contains glass, care should be taken when handling as it can break when dropped.

Pearl

Store your pearls in the box provided to prevent scratching. Avoid contact with perfume or chemicals. To clean your pearls simply wipe with a soft cloth, microfiber jewellery cloth or chamois, either damp or dry, to remove any skin oils or dirt. A drop of olive oil on the cloth can be used to help maintain the luster. Do not use cleaners, detergents, brushes or ultrasound cleaner.
